a Generalized urticaria, diffi culty in breathing, swelling of the mouth and throat, hypotension or shock.
b In many industrialized countries, yellow fever vaccine is administered to individuals with symptomatic HIV
infection or who are suffering from other immunodefi ciency diseases, provided that their CD4 count is at least 200
cells/mm3 and if they plan to visit areas where epidemic or endemic yellow fever actually occurs.

International certificate of vaccination or prophylaxis
This certificate is valid only if the vaccine or prophylaxis used has been approved by the World Health
Organization.
