INTRODUCTION

Accidents are unfortunate events that causes loss of valuable lives and property

This always does not point towards co incidence. Mostly irresponsible handling is a major cause
to it.

We will study about the factors that contribute to accidents and advise audience to avoid these
for their own sake and sake of their loved ones.
STUDY ON ACCIDENTS AND ITS POSSIBLE
FACTORS
Some of the attributes towards road accident can be 
Over Speeding
Drunken Driving
Distractions for Driver
Red Light Jumping
Avoiding Safety Gears like Seat belts and Helmets
Non-adherence to lane driving and overtaking in a wrong manner

Here we have taken the first two factor’s data and tried to establish a relationship.

Regression Analysis
FINDINGS

 We found that the three variables total accidents, number of overspeeding cases and
number of alcohol overdose cases are correlated with each other.
 Total accidents is related to overspeeding by 81.8% and to alcohol overdose by 54.4%
 The overspeed and overdose elements are correlated to each other by 39.8%.
 All three variables are related directly with each other.

 On regression, we find this test as significant.


 The regression equation is given by:-
Total accidents = 19689.746+0.684(Overspeeding)+2.645(Alcohol overdose)
