OBJECTIVE

 To observe the knowledge of mechanical students about OSHA

 To ask an opinion for the safety in Nilai Polytechnic workshop.
 To identify common workshop hazards
ABSTRACT / SUMMARY

 To clarify the importance of safety to mechanical engineering students

while in the workshop
 To ask students opinion about the facilities in workshops that need to be
improved
 To identify how students react if any hazards happened in workshop
INTRODUCTION

 OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) responsibility of

ensuring safety at work and a healthful work environment. OSHA is to
prevent work related injuries , illnesses and deaths.
METHODOLOGY

 We choose the Mechanical engineering department students for the

questionnaire because they are the user of the workshop.

DISCUSSION

From the graph, we can see that :

 All student have knowledge about OSHA
 All student agree we should have more safety labels
 Most of student choose welding workshop to improve that safety level
Conclusion

 OSHA must be implemented to all departments in Nilai Polytechnic
