 What is e-commerce?
E-commerce consists of the buying and selling of products or
services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other
computer networks.
Electronic commerce commonly known as e-commerce or
eCommerce.

It Includes:
 Online business to business transactions
 Online business to consumer transactions
 Digital delivery of products and services
 Online merchandising
 Automated telephone transactions example: mobile banking.
 Summary Of My Plan
Techx Computers is an e-commerce company planning to be the
market leader in computers, components and electronics. Nova
computers mission is to provide the finest and largest stock of
computer based products at affordable prices. We aim to attract and
maintain customers and give the best support available to them,
and in doing so exceed the expectations of our customers.
Mission: To offer our customers the highest quality products and
after-sales services.
Features:
 -Sign up for buyer/ user.
 -Login user.
 -User’s Wishlist and Ratings.
 -Insert new products by admin.
 -Update products by admin.
 -Delete old product by Admin if needed.
 -Non Registered user only sees the product but not apply for products.
 -Registered user sees the product and buy the products.
 -Display the products by their category and subcategory.
 -Customer can search the products.
 -Display product update.
Setting up my store:
Starting Out
After doing your research, I have create a list of atleast 20 products
i want to source.
Createing an online store with Shopify, it is free for 14 days and no
credit card is needed, however during the trial i should have made
enough sales to get my started and keep my store going.
i can choose from a range of free and premium themes bring my
store to life.
 Design
 I have completed the home page design. Here there are some modules
Including category,wishlist,cart,account.Also on the right side of homepage
ther is a module called offer.Here all the offer will be shown.
 Product category:
This module has information regarding the mobiles and laptops such as its
name, model, color, price information, its features etc. The ADMIN has the
authority to Add, Delete, Update etc. The USER can only view the Mobile,
add to cart only those in the stock etc.This module also consists of various
available accessories of the Mobile with its name and picture, price
information etc.
 Cart:
User can select any number of product and add to the cart. He/She can also
remove from the cart if he or she does not want it to buy later.
 Wishlist:
Here user can have wishlist of what product he wants to buy later but not
now.

 Marketing: Leverage the Power of
Social Media
Now my store is up and ready, next i need to let people know about my
new business! Social media can be a powerful marketing tool once i
know how to use it.
Facbook Advertise:
To run a Facebook Ad campaign i will first need to setup a FB page for
my business and run two adverts, one to advertise my Facebook page
and one to link back to my store.
Marketing: Customer Targeting
When targeting my customers it is best to be specific, this goes for FB
ads and social media pages.

 E-Commerce is not just about conducting business transactions
via the Internet. Its impact will be far-reaching, and more
prominent then we know currently. The new age global e-
commerce is creating entirely new economy and that will
tremendously change our lives, will reshape the competition in
various industries, and alter the economy globally.
