• When we pronounce the long vowel sounds
we use to PROLONG the sounds of the
words.

Short vowel sounds
In Short Vowel Sounds we use to pronounce in a
bit manner.
ă /ae/ combine the /ah/ and /eh/
= /aeh/
ĕ /eh/ note: take a smile (soft)
ĭ / ih/ normal lip (hard)
ŏ /oah/ /ooh/ and /aah/
ŭ /ahh/ quick / ahh/

The problem of ‘’P’’ and “F”
• We use to pronounce P with the
positioning of our UPPER LIP and
LOWER LIP.

• Meanwhile, in F we position our


upper teeth and lower lip.

The Problem with “B” and “V”
• We use to pronounce “B” with the
positioning of our UPPER LIP and LOWER
LIP.

• Meanwhile, in “F” we position our upper


teeth and lower lip.
THE PROBLEM WITH “W”
• In the word “ WORLD” we often pronounce
this word as in ( woooooorld… )
• But to make this correction we can say it
• Buy omitting the ow sound.
