Framework

 The 2 main frameworks used in the case presentation interview process was
client-centered and problem solving:
 Client- centered: The services are guided and focused on the clients needs and
wants. The protection order includes anything that that the client wants to request
to happen, it is all outlined by the client since the client knows what is best in
their and their children lives- emotionally, physically, and financially.
 Problem Solving: Using the problem solving process to assist with client troubles.
The client is guided to proper resources that may help solve the clients troubles,
but the client chooses to develop their own solutions rather than being told to do
so.
Interviewer’s Reflection
 What are some biases you had going into the interview?
 I thought the client wasn’t going to be as open about details in the abuse she has
experienced due to cultural circumstances
 What were some value differences between you and the client?
 I did not find differences between values

 What events or life experiences have shaped them into the person they are?
 The client did not go into enough detail about her life experiences that I could perceive
as life shaping experiences.

 What is the staff recommendation about diagnosis, interventions or treatment?

 Rapid rehousing program
 What changes do you recommend for the agency or services (needs of agency,
changes, and rights issues)?
 The ability to have more client spaces available in the rapid rehousing program (hire
more personnel to help in that area)
