Moringa oleifera contains vitamin A, iron, vitamin C, calcium and high protein
compared to other plants like carrots (vitamin A), spinach (iron), and oranges
(vitamin C). (Fahey, 2005) (Kasolo et al., 2010) (Anwar et al., 2007).

Giving Moringa can increase the hemoglobin of pregnant women with the effect
of giving iron tablets/ folic acid & Moringa can increase antioxidant levels and
reduce MDA, and 8-OHDG (Nadimin dkk, 2015).

Giving Moringa oleifera extract affects vitamin A levels in postpartum breast milk
(Nurfitria, 2018).

Giving Moringa flour (2000mg) can increase hemoglobin and birth weight of the
baby (Veni Hadju, dkk (2018).

Conclusions

Prevention of stunting in South Sulawesi is time to be done comprehensively,

priority in the initial conditions of life. Moringa plants that are abundant and
thrive everywhere are a source of supplements. It is expected that with
modern cultivation technology can prepare quality raw materials and can
provide great benefits to pregnant women.

Conclusions

The effect of giving Moringa flour capsules with Fe

tablets has no statistically significant difference in the
quality of breast milk, but based on the results of the
study, Moringa capsules have more influence on the
quality of breast milk (Vit.A and Vit E). Moringa flour
capsules can be another alternative for fulfilling mother's
vitamin needs.
