Guide Questions
1. Compare the number of
organisms found in both dry and
wet habitats. Which had more
number of organisms? Why was
this so?
Answer:
There are more organisms that
can be found in dry habitat,
because in dry places their
needs such as shelter, light and
the availability of food is
sustainable.
Guide Questions
2. What do you think were the
factors that affected the number
and kind of organisms inhabiting
the sites examined?
Answer:
The factors that can affect the
number and kind of organisms
that inhabiting in dry and wet
places are the climate, the
food and adaptability.
Guide Questions
3. Do you think all the organisms
had the same needs? Was there
interdependency among them?
Give examples of such
relationships.
Answer:
Conclusion:
How is the nature of the
habitat related to the number
of organism?
Answer:
The nature of the habitat is
related to the number of
organism because organisms
are like nomads they will go to
the places where they can live.
It all depend where they will
get more food that will sustain
them.

1. What are the example of
plants and animals that can
live in extreme environmental
conditions as in deserts and
cold places?
Answer:
In dry places, were the cactus,
camel, and other living
organism like thermophiles. In
wet area, orchids and polar
bears.
Answer:
In dry places, we have the

Mutha weed makahiya

Answer:
and in wet places we have the

Mutha weed

2. What special structures are
found in these plants and
animals? ex.(cactus)
Answer:

3. What do you think would
happen to plants and animals
whose habitats have been
destroyed? What can
governments, the non
government organizations
( NGO’s), and you as a student
do to preserve biodiversity?
Answer:
I think if the habitats of animals and
plants have been destroyed they will die,
if they die it will affect it will affect the
environment and also will affect humans,
and as a student do to preserve the
biodiversity is to take care all of the
species living in our environment. We
must learn on how to segregate our
garbage and not throw it into the river.
Application:
4. The philippine monkey-
eating eagle is one of the
largest eagles in the world. It
