JC5 MANAGEMENT CONCEPT

This Strategic Concept defines OJC5s method/methodplogies to fulfill its


lead/supporting role in support of the Command’s mandate. The MAIN METHOD
is STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT/EXECUTION in order to influence the
internal/external organizations and to address international and national security
issues, respectively. The supporting methodology is the conduct interagency
engagement and policy development. The primary purpose is for the AFP to
integrate education with training to set the condition to address external security
concerns with the objective to secure territorial baseline and protect territorial
integrity. The endstate is enhanced AFP JOINT-INTERAGENCY OPNS CAPABILITY
as a critical condition for the AFPs transition from ISO and shift to external
defense.
JC5 CONCEPT OF SUPPORT TO AFPETDC MISSION

METHOD: THIS OFFICE SUPPORTS AFPETDC IN ACCOMPLISHING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF
THE AFP JOINT FORCE DEVELOPMENT BY MANAGING AND ESTABLISHING CONTROL THRU PERIODIC
ASSESSMENT OF POLICIES AND STRATEGY CURRENTL APPLIED BY THE COMMAND AND HIGHER
HEADQUARTERS, RESEARCH ON EXISTING STRUCTURE, PATTERNS AND EVENTS, IDENTIFY GAPS BASED
ON DESIGN, COMMUNICATE FINDINGS TO CONCERNED OFFICES/CENTERS AND UNITS, RECOMMEND
CONCEPTS TO BE DEVELOPED, UNDERGO VALIDATION ONCE CONCEPT HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED
USING THE RESEARCH PROCESS AND INTERAGENCY ENGAGEMENT THEN ADVOCATE FOR POLICY
ENHANCEMENT/CHANGES.
