Rationale: Why ABC?

 It serves as an introductory/ orientation course on the

basic concepts, processes and methodologies of urban and
regional planning, but at the same time, also provides
updates on the latest approaches, tools and techniques of
such a dynamic field of profession.

 The course is an abridged version of our graduate school

degree programs, which we regularly offer to help fulfill
the School’s mandate to develop a pool of capable and
enlightened planners and decision-makers.

It is designed to enhance capabilities of the functionaries

of national government agencies, local government units
and professionals who are doing planning and planning-
