 Limestone having grey colour, thin to medium beds, some marl also present

 Distributed in Kala Chitta and parts of Hazara (Now Called as Tredian Formation)
 Thickness at type locality 30m

Type Section

Lithology
 Mainly composed of Limestone with subordinate marl and shale
 Limestone; grey, weathered to pale grey, nodular (10-30cm), medium to thick
bedded
 Marl; is grey to brownish grey
 Shale; is greenish brown to brown
Thickness/Distribution
 Well developed in Kala Chitta Range, Hazara and Potwar area
 100m at Shahdara section
 80m at Kala Chitta area
