Reuse, Reduce, Recycle

 Title Page: My Story
 Narration: Why should you reduce, reuse, and recycle?
 First and foremost, I want to share my story of why I started becoming
environmentally friendly in the first place. When I was younger, I attended
three elementary schools in which the first two schools did not have a recycle
system. I was taught that anything that was damaged or unneeded were to be
thrown in the trash. I never knew what recycling was up until I attended my
third elementary school as a fourth grader. On the first day of class, I saw a
blue bin with symbol that I had never seen before. I asked my classmate what
it was for and they explained it to me. I was so intrigued that materials could
be reused for another purpose to save the earth. Knowing that I could make a
difference just by doing something so small, I made it a habit to recycle
regularly in the classroom and I even brought recyclables from home!

tons of trash? And 137.7 million tons of trash ended up in landfills?

 Narration: Paper and paperboard generated the largest
percentage! Landfills could have been reduced tremendously if
recyclables were properly recycled! If landfills were overflowed, it
can result in an environmental disaster.

 Narration: If we reduced the amount of materials we use, we reduce the amount of
waste we create. We should reuse and recycle materials when possible. It is
important to rethink the materials we use and things that we throw away.
 If we just made small changes in our behavior, we can make an impact on the Earth.
Employees, lets work together and support this cause because we are a team who
strives to make a difference. Let’s motivate and challenge each other to go green!

Community Involvement
 Title Page: Giving Back
 Narration: As we all know, last year we raised nearly $300,000 for the clean
water project in Africa and watched the project come to life and helped
hundreds of people have access to clean water. It was an emotional
experience for us and we believed that we should give back starting with our
community. I am excited to announce that our next project will be a beach
cleanup in Ropes Park and we are encouraging everyone to invite friends and
family to help out and spread the word on social media.
