 West java was rocked by 5 SR earthquake
An earthquake shocked indonesian again.this time a 5
righter scale earthquake shake up cianjur, west java.
According to BMKG, the earthquake was in a depht of 10
kilometers in 8:37 south latitude – 06.79 East
Longitude.
The earthquake which happened in the afternoon created
panic among the resident. They were afraid of tsunami
which can be caused by the earthquake. Luckily, the
fear did not happen.
Nevertheless, hundreds of homes were damaged and
destroyed by the eathquake. However, so far it’s
unknown whether there were fatalities or injured in
the incident.
 Some places in jakarta still flooded to monday
National Disaster Management Agency (BNPN) deciared flood in jakarta
swallow 10 deaths until Monday (9/3) afternoon.
In a statement, BNPB, 10 victims who died due to various causes; 2 people
due to electric shock, 4 persons because of age illness, 2 children, 1 drifted
into the river, and one person trapped in the basement of the building.
Most deaths are from west jakarta.
The last victims was found dead in flooded areas, among others, the victims
in tebet, south jakarta on Friday (6/3), and the victim was found in the
basement of the evacuation at UOB building on sudirman street, central
jakarta.
The death toll found by team evacution in basement 2 UOB building was
identified.
UOB building evacuation process was carried out by suction of water that
flooded the 4th floor of the basement.
BNPB mention a number of areas in jakarta is still flooded, among others
pluit, north jakarta and west jakarta.
 Business in the sunday
Sunday, I thought it would be a great day for me. I was so tired to
study. So, I guessed I could re fresh anyway.
I woke up early in the morning. Then, I cleaned up my room and my
house. After that, I take a bath to go to church. I was so happy, I
did that until at about 9 a.m. so I go to church with my family.
I continued my activities with helped my mom to clean my yard at 4
p.m. after that, I watched a fantastic movie. But, suddenly my friend
called me. She asked me about the homeworks. I just realized that I
had a lot of homeworks for tomorrow. So, I spent my night to do
my homeworks. And, it ended in the midnight. I was so tired and I
fell asleep. In the morning, I woke up really late. So, I rushed to take
a bath and then I went to school. I didn’t have a breakfast that time.
Arrived at school, I was really late and had to wait until the flag
ceremony ended.
 Butterflies
During show and tell, leo was slouching on his chair
not listening. Whilst slouching. Max brought in a
kitten that jumped through a normal hoop, making
the crowd amazed. Secondly, citra brought in a cute
baby piglet wrapped around a blanket sucking a baby
bottle full a milk. After that, diky brought in a
hamster which was spinning in it’s hamster wheel
looking like the hamster enjoyed it. In addition,
stella who did her show and tell, surprisingly
brought in a squeaky elephant toy, which was quite
unusual and it squeaked annoyingly constanly. After
it was leo’s tum, despite he had crab and it looked
cool, his hands trembled with with fear and his face
tumed utterly pale so he had to go to the nurses
office straight away.
 FIRE
An electrical short circuit caused the fire of 13 houses in south
jakarta.
Predicted that fire originated from a house abandoned by its
owners while all the lights were kept turned on. The fire
happened around 04.30 A.M.
A resident who would do to masjid to take a subuh prayer saw
the fire had been enlarged at home of tony, the owner. He
then quickly knocked and woke the homeowners who lived
surround that fired house and then equally put out the fire.
Fortunately, 30 minutes later the fire department came and
helped them putting out the fire.
There were no people died in this accident and material losses
estimated about 300 million rupiah.
