RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
BETWEEN HUSBAND AND
WIFE
 Art. 68. The husband and wife are
obliged to:
• live together
• observe mutual love, respect and fidelity;
• and render mutual help and support.

Art. 69. The husband and wife shall fix

the family domicile. In case of
disagreement, the court shall decide.
 Nota Bene
• The court may exempt one spouse
from living with the other if the latter
should live abroad or there are other
valid and compelling reasons for the
exemption.

court for relief.

or is likely to result in physical, sexual,
psychological harm or suffering, or
economic abuse including threats of such
acts, battery, assault, coercion,
harassment or arbitrary deprivation of
liberty.

a woman who is his wife, former wife,
or a woman with whom the person has
or had a dating or sexual relationship,
or with whom he has a common child,
or against her child whether legitimate
or illegitimate.

employee, regardless of sex
is liable
God not only created sexual desire, but he
also created the perfect sphere for its
gratification: marriage.

Any attempt to alter his design is not only

immoral before him, but destructive of
human relationships and personal fulfillment.
