Verto’s goal is to be the leading footwear provider in the Philippines.
And to be a provider of gainful employment to needy high school
and college undergraduates. Verto aims to provide innovative and
alternative forms of footwear to people on the go. To design and
introduce quality flexible use footwear that will be comfortable,
convenient and affordable.

GOALS
The Mold of the shoe, the mold is created through 3D
p r i n t i n g a n d s a n d e d t o c u s t o m s i z e s t h a t Ve r t o p r o v i d e s .
Black leather is bough in Rizal and the YKK zipper and
Rubber soles are bought in Marikina. The Mold is rapped
with Canvas and Glue till dry and the pattern and design of
the shoes are drawn onto. The Leather is measured and
placed on top of the mold and cut into shapes of the
design and sewed on to applied with cushion. The zippers
are glued and sewed on to the sole and to the leather and
cushion is placed on the top of the rubber sole. The same
operations are done for the other shoe and when finished
wrapped in paper and placed within the shoe box and ready
for shipping.

The Verto black leather shoes are a game
changer to portability and quick changes,
with a sandal inside the zipper. The shoe is
also made to benefit the comfortability of
the wearer and the durability. The shoe
also has a slip on feature and an easy
remove feature.
The Managing Director of Verto Jethro Antonio A. Quimbo handled most of the
business questions and how things were placed and handled customer questions
and explained to a few customers how Verto was made and what it means and
made goals for the group, The Head of Production and Technology Design
Michael William R. Garcia took notes of customer needs and customer
comments and notes on the shoe and for further service and use. The Head of
Finance Ariel Leon Y. Gordon stayed behind the counter and indulged himself
with customer ideas and handled the finance, such as production cost and how
much is needed to sell each shoe. The Head of Marketing and Sales, Jose Gertes
went around marketing the product and attracted customers.

THOUGH MAKING THE PRODUCT MAY TAKE A BIT MORE TIME DUE TO THE
FIRST PROTOTYPE, AND MAKING THE PAIR OF SHOES ARE COSTLY AND MAY
TAKE TIME. THE OTHER CHALLENGES VERTO FACED WERE ESPECIALLY
FOCUSED ON EXPENSES AND FINANCE. HAVING TO COMMIT TO A VERY NEW

PRODUCT WHICH HAS NOT BEEN MADE, IT TOOK A LOT OF TESTING AND
PROTOTYPES BEFORE VERTO WAS ABLE TO CONCEPTUALIZE FULLY WHAT
THE FINAL PRODUCT WOULD BE.
THE GROUP AT FIRST WAS VERY HECTIC TO THOSE PROBLEMS IN SUCH IT WAS
DIFFICULT AT FIRST HAVING TO SOURCE THE MONEY AND FIND A

CHALLENGES
PRACTITIONER WHO HAD A SPECIALTY IN LEATHER AND CRAFT AND IN MAKING
OUT OF THE BLUE CONCEPTS.
RECOMENDATIONS
