Mental Healths Link To The Internet
More often than not when browsing the internet usually any type of
social media it shows people sharing or expressing negative
emotions.

-Tumblr: The most notorious website that glorifies mental illness

such as depression and anxiety which is littered across the website

-Instagram: Although not as bad as Tumblr, Instagram users have

become normalized to others sharing negative thoughts of mental
illnesses.
Service Learning
In order to change ways students deal with things
such as depression and stress from school and as a
way to combat student from having a negative
connotation of life which causes them to share their
emotions on social media. The Leadership class that
i'm apart of created an area in the school called the
block an area once unused turned into a peaceful
environment where students can relax and discuss https://garingerrambler.wordpre
personal topics with no judgement. This has been an ss.com/2019/05/08/the-block/

Service Learning Changing The Future
Another part of my service learning was again along with the leadership
class we created a Mental Wellness Class. It was discussed with the
Chief Academic Officer Mr.Kingsley and we discussed why mental health
was so important and he was on board with the idea of a Mental
Wellness class and he talked of how it could be implemented in the
2019-2020 or 2020-2021 school year in CMS

Ways to Reduce Mental Health Issues
Although people try their hardest to stay offline in today's world it is
close to impossible when your a student, you constantly are online for
assignments and as a break from work people turn to social media.

An extreme way of handling the situation would be to have mental

health hotlines survey social media outlets and contact those who seem
to be mentally unstable a more passive way to handle the situation
would be to teach children and teens on ways to cope with their feeling
as well as ways they can help and understand others who do suffer from
a mental illness
Mental Health In The Future
Our society faces many issues with mental illness and the internet has
some contribution to the problems we face so in order to stop student
from hurting themselves and self diagnosing problems that are not
really there by introducing mental wellness classes in schools students
and young adults would be able to understand their own feeling as well
as others who suffer from illnesses.
