If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:

•1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor*


•512mb, 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
•16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
•DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer's processor (also
called a CPU), handles information. The 64-bit version of Windows handles
large amounts of random access memory (RAM) more effectively than a 32-
bit system.

•32 GB disk space (10 GB for Foundation Edition)
•DVD drive.
•Keyboard and pointing device.
1. Start/Restart your computer and hit DELETE(BIOS Entry KEY) immediately to run
BIOS SETUP.
2. When AwardBIOS setup screen appears, use ↑/↓key to select Advanced Bios
Features item and hit Enter.
3. Use down key to select First Boot Drive item, hit Enter and press down key again
to choose CDROM option for the First Boot Device.
4. Hit F10 to save your setting and exit if you complete the setup.
Choose YES and hit Enter when a confirm massage pops up, then the computer
will restart automatically and it will display …
Power on the PC and the insert the Windows 7 disc into your CD/DVD drive.
Choose your Windows Setup options. Once Windows Setup loads, you'll be
presented with a window. Select your preferred language, keyboard type,
and time/currency format, then click Next.
Click the Install Now button.
Accept the License Terms. Read over the Microsoft Software License
Terms, check I accept the license terms, and click Next.
Select the Custom installation.
Decide on which hard drive and partition you want to install Windows on. A
hard drive is a physical part of your computer that stores data, and
partitions "divide" hard drives into separate parts.

If the hard drive has


data on it, delete the
data off of it,
or format it.
1. Select the hard drive
from the list of hard
drives.
2. Click Drive options
(advanced).
3. Click Delete
Install Windows on your preferred hard drive and partition. Once you've
decided on where to install Windows, select it and click Next. Windows will
begin installing.
Type your username and computer's name and click Next.
Type your password and click Next. If you don't want a password, leave the
text boxes blank and then click Next.
Enter your product key then click Next. Your product key is located on the case of
your Windows 7 disc if you purchased the disc. To skip entering your product key, just
click Next, but Windows will run on a 30-day trial, and you'll have to enter a key once
the 30 day trial time is up.
Choose your Windows Update settings.

made a decision.
Set your time and time zone.

Set your time and time zone.


Set your network type.

• If the computer is
connected to your own
personal network,
choose Home network.
• If you are connected to the
network at your workplace,
choose Work network.
• If you're connected to a
public network from places
such as restaurants and
shops, choose Public
network.
Your computer is now set up!
Insert your Flash Drive (8gb)
1. Search cmd in search area
2. Run CMD as ADMINISTRATOR
When the command prompt opens, enter the following
command
Type DISKPART and press enter.
Type LIST DISK and press enter.
Once you enter the LIST DISK command. It will
show the disk number of your FLASH DRIVE. In

Type SELECT DISK 1 and press enter.
Type CLEAN and press enter.
Type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY and press enter.
Type SELECT PARTITION 1 and press enter.
Type ACTIVE and press enter.
Type FORMAT FS=NTFS and press enter.
(Format process may take a few seconds/minute)
Type ASSIGN and press enter. and then EXIT and press enter

NOTE: DO NOT CLOSE THE CMD AS WE NEED TO EXECUTE ONE


MORE COMMAND AT THE NEXT STEP, MINIMIZE IT.
Insert the windows 7 DVD on your DVD-ROM and note
down the drive letter of the OPTICAL DRIVE and the
FLASH DRIVE. Example my optical drive is Drive D: and
my flash drive is F:
Go back to command prompt and execute the following
command
• D: and press ENTER
• CD BOOT and press ENTER
• BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 F:
COPY THE CONTENT OF THE DVD on your OPTICAL DRIVE
to the FLASHDRIVE.

THEN YOU ARE READY TO INSTALL USING YOUR FLASH


DRIVE!
