I. BACKGROUND
Packaging and Documentation is one of the integral part of
Brigada Eskwela Evaluation. The proper documentation of
reports happened all throughout the duration of Brigada
Eskwela in every school year and it makes reports organized and
easy to understand. Good packaging makes document easier to
read by visually guiding the readers’ eyes to the most important
information and not to distract readers from the main message
of the report.

I. BACKGROUND
Belison National School, being hailed as the Hall of Famer
in Brigada Eskwela Best School Implementer in National Level,
tried very hard to produce a coherent and well-packaged
documents. In many years of preparing Brigada Eskwela reports,
we followed set of guidelines that we think makes it easy to
comprehend, organized, and making it presentable as possible.

General Guidelines

• The report is divided into five (5) books: 1. Scope of

Work , 2. Generated Resources, 3. Diverse Volunteer
Participation, 4. Alignment to Brigada Eskwela Theme
and 5. Creativity and Innovation. This is to ensure
that necessary documents an are aligned and
coherent.
• Every activity before, during and after the
implementation must be documented.
• The design of the template must be taken into proper
consideration.

Documentation Guidelines

• Include a copy of your SIP and AIP. This will be the

heart of your report. All projects, activities, and
programs must be included especially those which are
aligned to the Brigada Eskwela implementation.
• Provide description for each program and how it is
integrated in Brigada Eskwela implementation.
• Provide breakdown of expenses from Brigada Eskwela
and the total amount of money and materials donated
from the whole duration of the implementation.

• Include also pictures of physical facilities repairs,

maintenance works, new improvements and
beautification aligned to BE plan.
• Note: pictures must be an action picture and developing
pictures. It means pictures from before, during and
after of the work and improvements must be
documented.
• Provide caption for every pictures. Provide context or
background to the reader so he or she can understand .
A sentence or two is usually sufficient and should be
written in present tense.

• Make sure that the attendance of volunteers from the

weeklong celebration of Brigada Eskwela must be
properly documented. It must be categorized into
different group affiliation.
• Tip: specify each group affiliation. For example, divide
the weeklong celebration as per religious sect. First day
for IFI, second day for Catholics.
• Note: diverse volunteer participation composes 25% of
the criteria for evaluation, the more parents and groups
that will volunteer, the bigger the chance to get high

• The percentage of completion including program of

works must be included.

• Note: include pictures of generated resources from

various volunteers and stakeholders (cash or in-kinds)

• Tip: think of another income generating activity that can

gain extra amount of money for future school projects,
repairs and maintenance.

• Include pictures of Fire and Earthquake drill. Also,

symposiums and workshops related to it.
• Provide also pictures of signages, school map for
evacuation purposes, materials and equipments in case
of fire or earthquake, emergency hotline numbers, and
first aid kits. Note: this must also be included in the
Generated Resources if donated by stakeholders.

• Think of different activities where it can attract more

volunteers and stakeholders to participate during the
Brigada Eskwela week.
• Tip: add projects like: Fun Run, Color Shower, and
Medical Mission. Make sure that the goal and objectives
of the activity is aligned with the aims of Brigada
Eskwela.
• Document pictures of different agencies and groups
participating actively.

• The documents, reports and supporting papers

must be properly bound to make the book intact,
neat and organized.

• Choose only one font style. The font size will be

based on the importance of the word or a phrase.
• Only one design and color of template will be used
to assure that the report is coherent. Use a soft tone
of color that is not overpowering the information
presented.

• Do not over design using unnecessary decorations.

• Make your cover page simple yet presentable. The

font style and font size must be readable and
imposing.

Just like our journey in Brigada Eskwela, the awards we
received were not achieved overnight. It takes several brains
to envision the dream, a hundredfold of hands to work, and a
heart that is willing to serve for a common goal. And now, as
we savor our sweet success, let this guidelines help you to be
the next Hall of Famer in Brigada Eskwela.
