INTRODUCTION
• A dump trolley is a trolley used for
transporting materials (such as gravel, grain,
sand, compost, heavy rocks, etc.) for
construction.
• Three way unloading truck makes operations
easy.
• Adjustable joints are provided to dumper to
unload in multidirection.
OBJECTIVES
• To design and construct a multi directional
unloading system which is economically
effective.
• Design an unloading system that efficient than
ordinary ones which will save more time and
man power.
PROJECT DESIGN
FRAME
FRAME
• Frame
1. It is the main part of unloading system.
2.20mm×20mm square size G.I pipe is used .G I
sheet 22 gauge is used.
3. The pipe are inter joined by welding.
COMPONENTS
• HYDRAULIC PUMP
• SOLENOID VALVE
• HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
• PLASTIC WHEELS(4 nos)
• A C MOTOR
• HOSE & FITTINGS
HYDRAULIC PUMP

• 0.5lpm; 1500 rpm

HYDRAULIC MOTOR

• AC motor-1500rpm,50 Hz,1 phase,0.25 HP

HYDRAULIC CYLINDER

• 40mm bore,200mm stroke

SOLENOID VALVE

• 50 bar,50Hz,2/2 Single phase

TYRE,HOSE & FITTINGS

• 8 inch plastic wheels(4 nos)

• Fittings- Brass fittings
• Hose- Nylon hose 10 bar pressure
PROCESS
• GRINDING
• WELDING
• TURNING
• CUTTING
GRINDING
• Parts after welding are perfectly grinded for
effective machining.
WELDING
• GI pipe can be welded with the simplest E6010 electrode in arc
welding .
• ARC WELDING ELECTRODE
Length - 450mm
Diameter - 2.5mm
Welding current - 75A
CUTTING
• Pipe cutter is the tool is used to cut pipe.
• It also producing a clean cut, the often
faster,cleaner &more convenient way of
cutting pipe than using a hacksaw. It used for
cutting G I pipe for frame.
TURNING
• Motor and hydraulic pump are connected by a
coupling.
• Before coupling the components are turned in
a lathe.
ADVANTAGES
• Easy to unload.
• Save more time.
• Save man power.
• Low maintenance cost.
DISADVANTAGE
• Difficulty in establishing exist dumpers.
• Balancing.
DESIGN GOALS
• Balance must maintain when unloading heavy
loads with out providing extra weight.
• Proper material should be selected for the key.
• Time taken for unloading to sides must
reduced.
• Weight capacity should be comparable to
conventional unloading system.
FUTURE WORK
• Future work will involve fixing hydraulic
cylinder in a suitable angle so that proper
unloading take place.
• Testing safety of the system under different
loads.
• Implementing and benchmarking the various
strategies to avoid the problem of balancing.
CONCLUSION

• Frame work is completed.

• Motor and pump is connected through a
coupling which is done in a lathe.
• 80% of work is done. Only assembling
,painting is left.
