CORE SUBJECT DESCRIPTION

• The subject covers various contemporary arts practices of the region where
the school is located.
• It aims to provide students with an appreciation of a broad range of styles in
the various disciplines with consideration of their elements and principles, and
engage them to an integrative approach in studying arts.
• The students will broaden and acquire the necessary creative tools that open
opportunities in pursuing their individual career goals and aspirations.

techniques.

SUBJECT REQUIREMENTS:
• Big drawing book – covered with construction paper and plastic
 blue- Aquarius
 green- Aries
 black- Taurus
 orange- Leo
 yellow- Cancer

• Long folder with plastic cover and fastener (same color as the drawing book)
• Long bondpaper (at least 20 pieces)
SUBJECT REQUIREMENTS:

• Art materials (pencil, water colors, colored pens, crayons, colored pencils,
ruler, assorted color construction paper, glue, etc)
• Collegiate notebook (1 piece; nonspring, 80 leaves; same color as drawing
book and folder)
• Black ballpen (for notes, quizzes, and exams)
• Yellow pad for major exams
