INTRODUCTION
• Bangalore, the silicon valley of the East, is the
fastest growing metropolis in India with a
population growth rate of more than3.5% per
annum. This revolution while bringing prosperity to
the city has led to breakdown of civil infrastructure
including choked and narrow roads unable to cope
with growing vehicular traffic, power and water
shortages and severe air, water and noise pollution.
Categories of Construction Equipments:

Equipments. Grading Equipments. Asphalt
Mixing Plant. Asphalt Laying Equipments.
Hauling Equipments. Concreting Equipments.
• The cost of the equipment in a project varies
from 10 to 30% of the total project depending
upon the extent of work. Proper planning,
selection, procurement, installation,
operation, maintenance plays and important
role in the completion of the project. The role
of construction equipments in roads,
highways, large building, dams, canals etc.,
will play important role.

PROJECT PHASING
• The Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor
Project has been divided into "stand alone"
development projects. These distinct project
phases will be completed over a 13 year
period. The following illustrates the various
development projects.

ABOUT COMPANY
• The Kalyani Group of Companies and SAB
International LTD. have formed Nandi
Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises LTD.
(NICE) to develop the Bangalore-Mysore
Infrastructure Corridor. As the owners of this
Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) project,
company will implement the project in its
various phases and operate the facilities after
completion of construction.
PERIPHERAL ROAD

• Peripheral road to connect national Highway


NH 4 coming from Mumbai & NH 7 going to
Chennai.
• This will bring about decongestion of the city
& reduce the level of air & noise pollution.
• Expressway standard facility with 75 meter
right of way
PROJECT BACKGROUND
• The Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor
Project has evolved from the development of
one of India's fastest growing and important
cities: Bangalore.
• The Government of Karnataka first attempted
to address the rapid growth of Bangalore and
the need for major infrastructure expansion in
the Bangalore Mysore region
OVERALL CONSTRUCTION
• 41 km of peripheral road
• 9.1 km of link road.
• 4.5 km of expressway.
