most import to our todays society, being that computers are involved with almost every ones daily life. It helps to build, implement, and maintain our everyday technology. Brief Intro Computers has changed the way the world works in many way’s. Engineering will employ over 40% of our society in the next 10 years. The more technology is developed; we will need people implementing the computers or machines so they will work effectively. There are many different areas of engineering, such as; electrical, aeronautical, mechanical, and chemical engineering. Research Findings The of computers in radios, televisions, radars, transmitter computers, and robotics has advanced our society to place we never thought was possible.
Pursuing the career of computer engineering,
you will need to learn and master the aspects of hardware, software, and some knowledge of computer science. Computer engineering is closely related to electrical engineering.
They have the same core curricula’s.
Becauseof the job market colleges prepare
students to work with computer and electrical engineering since they both are highly demanded.
It is a very difficult major, but a hot job right now.
Engineering is needed when developing any type
of computer, and computer science is more software oriented. Engineer's can sometimes be involved in software development too. You don’t just focus on how computers
work, but how they is integrated into the
big picture. Engineers can sometimes have specialties or
aspects where they focus on.
◦ Such as computer networks, mobile computers, and distributed systems. Network Engineers Network engineers will build integrated environments for computing, communications, information access over heterogeneous underlying technologies. They consist of further enhancing shared-channel wireless networks, and improving the quality of service in mobile and ATM They do jobs such as ◦ Setting up secure internet connects ◦ Configuring internal systems such as routers, and firewalls. ◦ Use packet sniffers to determine traffic patterns and to find more efficient ways to use the network. ◦ Always on call if you work for a major network environment such as a bank. Conclusion The more and more our world advances and more technology are needed in everyday American lives, engineering will never die. But continue to grow. There will always be engineering jobs available as long as computers are being used. Right now it has been a lack of engineers and computer scientist. Engineering is a very tough major if you haven’t had any experience or taken technology classes to teach you above the basics. If not it will be very difficult trying to comprehend everything in college with a professor. Computer engineering is a very rewarding career and you’re guaranteed to find a job.
