Overview
Purpose:
The purpose of this document is to familiarize the reader
with the setup procedures necessary to activate and use
Microsoft NetMeeting 3.01
Audience:
The intended audience of this document is the end user
who will be using NetMeeting. An administrator can use
this document to determine which screens will require end
user interaction by default.

• What is VPN?
VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. Loosely defined, a
VPN allows you to run a secure, private network over an
unsecured public network. You can use virtual private
networking to get clients connected to your network over
the Internet and do it securely, even though the Internet
is inherently an unsecured network.
• What is a VPNC?
A VPN Concentrator is a networking device that resides
between the Corporate Network and the Internet and
servers as the endpoint of a VPN tunnel.
