SUMMER TRAINING

AT
S.R.S.A.C.

Project Name:-
Super 6 Webserver
What Can You Do with
Remotely Sensed Data?
• Soil conservation planning.
• Water resources-surface & ground water.
• Human settlement.
• Monitoring/change detection.
• Agriculture
• Land use/Land cover mapping.
• Geology & Geomorphology.
• Land degradation studies- salt affected areas, erosion.
• Forest & vegetation mapping.
Remote Sensing
• Remote sensing is any technique for measuring, observing or
monitoring a process or object without physically touching
the object under observation. Optical and radio elescopes,
cameras, even eyesight, are types of remote sensing with
which you are probably familiar.
• Remote sensing is a technique used to collect data about the
earth without taking a physical sample of the earths surface.
A sensor is used to measure the energy reflected from the
earth. This information can be displayed as a digital image
or as a photograph. Sensors can be mounted on a satellite
orbiting the earth, or on a plane or other airborne structure.
Types of Remote Sensing
1) Passive remote sensing:-
• Natural energy sources are used here for measurement.
Spacecraft and aircraft generally based on passive
remote sensing. Here we use sunlight as a source.

2) Active remote sensing:-

• Active remote sensing instrumentation includes the energy
source on which the measurement is based. RADAR is
a widely known form of active remote sensing.
Aspects of Remote Sensing
1. Air Borne Sensing :- Using aircraft to cover the area of
earth.
2. Space Borne Sensing:- spacecraft are used to
cover area of earth.
Incorporating Data into a “GIS”
 GIS is a computer based tool
for mapping and analyzing
things that exists and event
that happen on earth.
 GIS technology integrates
common database operations
such as query and statistical
analysis with the unique
visualization and geographic
analysis benefits offered by
maps.
PROJECT ABSTRACT
Super6WebServer is a website module which is
developed in PHP and HTML coding with MYSQL as a
back end.
Super6WebServer is a website module which is created
for maintaining an online log in database record.
This project can be used as an interface for any type of
entertainment, health, social websites.
This website will enable the upcoming websites to get
easily started with our interface administrator and user
entries.
This will create a record of those users who registered in
it with proper entries and can be provided information on
their e-mail ids.
Technologies/Languages Used

HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language)

• HTML is a language for describing web pages.
• HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language..

PHP(Hypertext Preprocessor)
• Scripting/Programming language(like:-’C’).
• Its free and open source.
• fast,cross platform,stable and open.
• No compilation.
• Easy to use and Extremely powerful.
• PHP files has an extension of “.php” , “.php3” , “.phtml”.
Apache HTTP Server

• Apache is developed and maintained by an open community of

developers under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation.
• The application is available for wide variety of operating systems like
Unix, GNU, Linux, MAC OS X, Microsoft Windows.
Features of Apache
• Apache supports a variety of features, many implemented as
compiled modules which extended the core functionality.
• Popular authentication modules include mod_access, mod_auth,
mod_digest and mod_auth_digest.
• Apache features configurable error messages, DBMS-based
authentication databases and content negotiation.
• It is supported by several GUIs.
• Virtual hosting allows one Apache installation to serve many
different actual websites
MySQL
•MySQL is a relational database management system (RDBMS)
that runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of
databases.

•MySQL works on many different system platforms, including

AIX, i5/OS, Linux, Mac OS X, OpenSolaris ,Solaris, Symbian,
SunOS, UnixWare, and Microsoft-Windows.

•Many programming languages with language-specific APIs

include libraries for accessing MySQL databases. And some
language support ODBC interface to accessing the MySQL
database.
My contributions to the Project

• Designing the documents of the project (ERD and class

diagram).
• Coding of connectivity of PHP with MYSQL.
• Creating database Schema/Tables.
• Content collection from net.

Personal Information Page:-
APPLICATIONS

• It will ensure only the authorized users to alter the information

present in the given website.
• Users can be provided information with respect to their interest
through e-mails and their related information will also be maintain
in the information.
• In future, this registration form can be used as an interface for an
other type of social or entertaining websites.
• New type of algorithms can be used for checking authorized
password access for security purpose.
• At a time various web links can be given of related website. This
will reduce the time required to find out all the related sites.
• A randomized command is created for background wallpaper
which allows to have different wallpaper after certain time with
every time we click in. so, it gives a new look for a website.
