Troubleshooting Information

1. Turn off any pop-up blockers:in Internet Explorer go to:

Tools>Internet Options>Security Tab>Custom Level button>Scroll to
“Disable” pop-up blocker AND Tools>Internet Options>Privacy
Tab>Remove “Block Pop-ups” check box.
2. Remove any third-party internet search bars, such as Google, AOL,
or Yahoo. They contain their own popup blockers which interfere with
ProjectNet.
3. Windows XP contains a “personal firewall”, located on the Control
Panel. If enabled, it interferes with ProjectNet. Turn it off, or allow
exceptions from URL = https://collaboration.gepower.com
4. If accessing ProjectNet through a satellite connection and VPN
(Virtual Private Network), you may experience slowness. To increase
speed, try accessing ProjectNet without VPN, just using the satellite
connection.
