O

First and foremost we extend my deep sense of

gratitude to Dr. Arun Sharma, IT Department, G.C.E.T,
Greater Noida, for giving us his valuable suggestions
and supervision for this project. He guided us through
crucial stages of this project.
We also thanks our IT Department faculty members
who directly or indirectly helped us in our project.
Last but not the least we express our gratitude to all
our family members and our friends who provided us
the much needed confidence by their guidance and
blessings from time to time.

A journal basically means a written record
(personal or organizational ) experiences and
observation.
Our journal is basically about research in IT
which helps the users to update their
knowledge in IT frequently .It deals with
mainly four pillars of IT infrastructure which
are software engineering , networking ,
security , and dbms.
c
This online journal of research in IT is
developed by students of GCET .This website
allows not only the benefits to the students
but also the staff members and all users who
exists globally in every corner of the world.
It allows various authors to publish their
knowledge on this platform to share it publicly
.
 !

ournals are basically a set of knowledge provided

over time to keeps us updated with the changing
world. Our college is the home of knowledge so,
we have decided to create a journal website over
which our faculty members and students can
share their set of latest knowledge.Since we
choosed to create this ournal in IT sector since it
is the only field were there is a new achievements
made every second.
We took four basic pillars of IT of which a quarterly
journal will be published .
These journals are of :
-Networking
-Security
-software engineering
-D.B.M.S
The data will be extracted by any person all over the
college interested in IT,and it expected that it will also
be utilized globally to share knowledge vastly.
Thus provides significant benefit to all participants.

c & Articles can be put on the Web as soon as they are ready, without
having to wait. This all means that the information is much more --
" than can be achieved with paper .
c#(c #& Searchability is one of the core advantages of a
digital format with information easier to find, there will be !
"and keep up-to-date with.
*& The rapid turnaround time means that articles can be read,
commented on by the journal's readers, and amended much more quickly than
can be done with print. The ease with which e-mail can be sent, or forms filled in
means that there can be much greater "+!, through the Web.
cc#&Also "-!! can be given to different people
with little extra effort, e.g. different levels of subscription allowing access to
abstracts only, or full multimedia.
. c*& This is a hotly debated point, with claiming that a 70%
saving over print costs can be made, while Whisler argues that only a 20% saving
can be made as distribution costs are a low proportion of the final journal price,
and even that saving will be eaten up by extra costs caused by new features.

)#.#(& journals being able to evolve quickly as they are not tied to a
format, printer or distribution network.
