Are fixed cost associated with ship purpose they include: Pre- delivery expenses Loan repayment Interest payment Leasing charges Initial registration fees Taxes Any bare boat charter payable These costs are generally the owners responsibility and in case at the bare boat charter some of these costs may be transferred to the deponent owner

These are variable cost associated with commercial employment of the ship. They include Bunkers Pilot age Tub hire Agency fees Stevedoring charges(loading, discharging expenses) These are the responsibility of the ships commercial operator.

These are semi variable costs which fall between capital and voyage cost these include: Crewing Storing Maintenance Insurance Administration These are the responsibility of the ship owner or manager as the cost may be in preparing voyage estimates. In preparing voyage estimates the main cost which may be taken into are voyage cost and operating cost. However a few of the fixed capital cost will also be taken into account for example Loan repayment, interest charges
