M-commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services through wireless handheld devices. M-Commerce is the process of paying for services using a mobile phone or personal organizer. M-Commerce is the use of mobile devices to communicate, inform transact and entertain using text and data via a connection to public and private networks.

E commerce is available to only those places where we have net connectivity, but with m commerce we are free from all such boundaries. Video conferencing has become possible with m commerce even in places where there is no internet. E commerce not only needs internet but also electricity whereas there is no such requirement with m commerce. M commerce is easier to get to in comparison to e commerce but at present, using m commerce is costlier than using e commerce.
