Its time to get organized so far all our references are simply in the database and the last import is stored in Last Imported, you can search for them, but as the number of references increases this will not quite be the best way forward. So lets look at FOLDERS
Get Organized
RefWorks offers two main ways to organize your references. Most users utilize a combination of both. Add them to Folders
1.
Every reference can be in as many folders as you need them, but it is only one reference. Thus if you change something, it will be reflected in all folders
2.
Every folder marked in red is one, which you have created. Before you go about adding references to these, you want to remove duplicates.
When youve got rid of all duplicates (you dont have to of course) you can start doing searches to organize your references, in this case, I am searching for Brunel
Once you are done, you can click on FOLDERS > ORGANIZE FOLDERS to see how things have been split up. Remember one reference can be in as many Folders as you like. Lets take a look at the Economics Folder

Creating a bibliography

Now this is nice, a great reading list, fantastic to show your Professor before you get going. But there is one functionality that is really hot: Writing a paper and format in-text citations and references at the same time.
Creating a bibliography
You will need to install Write-N-Cite, which is Writeavailable from our web-site. it is a utility that allows you to access an abbreviated version of your RefWorks account in Microsoft Word If you use a different word processing tool, this can be used as well, however you will need to cite manually. The only requirement is that your word processor supports Text, ODT or RTF formats.
RefWorks will learn which output styles you prefer and offer them on top of the output style selection box. There are over 500 output styles
Enter a read-only password. This will allow the person who knows the Read Only Password to see your entire RefWorks account, however no changes are allowed.
The person, whom you wish to give access, comes to RefWorks, enters your User-Id and the read only password. Once he/she clicks Login, your entire RefWorks database is available to them.
