4TRXs set Antenna mode (Sent Receive mode Single Feeder (1TX + 2RX)
Description - This alarm is reported when the BTS detects continuous RL abnormalities. The power level imbalance between
uplink and downlink. It indicates that the uplink power level and the downlink power level deviate from each other greatly.
Reason
Hardware:
-
The connection of the RX cable is loosened, broken, wrong configuration or damaged. Card DRFU was damaged.
Software: (Click here for detail) - Wrong Configure between BSC and BTS - Wrong Receive Mode and Sent Mode (If Config 2TRX must be configure Dividing
Receiver and No combine) - Wrong Downlink tributary on configure of DDPU (Uplink/Downlink/Tributary) Solution
Check connection of the RF cable is connected. Check configuration of RX cable is corrected. Replace RX cable or card if faulty. Replace card DTRU/DDPU if male connector broken. Note: - Radio link prompt alarm have three Sublink No: 0:Abnormal channel activation alarm (Traffic normal) 1:Abnormal channel release alarm (Traffic normal) 2:No traffic alarm (Traffic warning have to reset site) 3:Power level imbalance between uplink and downlink alarm (Wrong RX configuration)
The alarm is reported when any of the following conditions occurs: (1) The frequency of the TRX is not consistent with the type of the TRX. (2) The static power of the TRX is lowered by the main control module to protect
Reason Hardware: - Wrong GSM card (Bandwidth) (GSM900/1800) of Card DRFU/GRFU (Insert wrong GSM card) - Insert wrong CPRI cable wrong slot on card GTMU. - Patch E1 wrong site (Mean: E1 of Main site patch for Cosite and E1 of Cosite patch for Main site) Software: - Wrong Sent Receive Mode of Antenna - The type of the board in the slot is different from the configured board type on the BSC side - The RF front end power is small. - Frequency and TRX type mismatch. Solution
- Check Frequency on BTS and BSC are the same - Check Sent Receive Mode on BSC and BTS are the same. - Check card DRFU/GRFU was install correctly . - Reset site
Description
- This alarm is generated when the cables concerning the power output
port of the TRX (TX1, TX2, TCOM) are not properly connected. - This alarm is generated when the antenna jumper is not connected to the antenna port of the Carrier Module.
Reason
- The cable between the power output port of the TRX and the power input port of the RF front-end unit (DDPU) is damaged. - The connection of the Jumper cable is loosened or broken. - The CPRI cable is not connected between DRFU to GTMU - Feeder faulty. Solution
- Reset site - Check whether the connections between the modules and the cable connectors are loose. - Check CPRI cable if loosened or broken. - Change Jumper, CPRI cable, Feeder, or card if faulty - Check the values of VSWR level between BTS and BSC
- If the VSWR of the antenna system exceeds the Carrier Module VSWR warning alarm threshold, the VSWR warning alarm is generated. Reason - The connection of the Jumper cable is loosened or broken. - Carrier Module (DRFU) is faulty - Feeder, connector of feeder and antenna was faulty Solution - Check the connector of the cable connecting to the antenna port of the Carrier Module. - Check the connector of the cable connecting to the antenna port. - Replace the jumper of the antenna system. - Replace the Carrier Module.
- The SFP port configuration on the RXU Chain of the BSC is inconsistent with the physical connection. Reason - Topology configuration on the SFP port is inconsistent with physical connection. - CPRI chain/ring on the SFP port is disconnected. - A CPRI port on the GTMU chain/ring on the SFP port is blocked. - Card DRFU faulty. Solution - Reset card GTMU if not clear - Remove CPRI cable if the port on GTMU is not used. - Check connection of CPIR cable between DRFU and GTMU is corrected. - Replace card GTMU if port blocked.
