Need of the training programme

Leadership training is required to inculcate new skills and behaviors that will enhance the trainees ability to lead others. Leadership programme is essential to neutralize the occasionally bad egg or negative superior who make it impossible for the subordinates to perform job well. It is required to teach the employees to communicate with their team clearly, confidently and passionately Training will help the superiors to earn and retain respect and trust of their subordinates

Objective:

The training programme will create a cultural shift in leadership in the organization. A cultural shift organizationally and the opportunity will increase the daytoday effectiveness of the trainees as a leader. The training programme will help the trainees to understand the distinction between leadership and management and how to use both to the advantage situationally within the organization. It will enhance ability to recognize leadership opportunities on the job and to apply newly acquired leadership skills, behaviors and actions. Trainees will learn the fundamental concepts of effective leadership while addressing their organizations specific leadership challenges and cultural issues

Age: - 25-40 yrs Experience: - 3-8 yrs Educational Background: Graduate/ post graduate No. of participants: - 30 Post of Trainees: Executives, Team Leaders and Managers

Venue: - Company Conference hall Equipments: - laptop, projector, white board, markers, audio system, stationary.

TRAINING AID
Game1:- Leaders you admire Objective To seek leadership characteristics through personal experience Activity Description: Divide the group into small groups. Ask participants to share a story about the best or most influential leader that they have encountered. After each story, identify leadership characteristics by asking the question: What was it that made this person such an effective leader? Then as a group, identify the traits that all the leaders seemed to share.

TRAINING AID
Game 2:- "Stand by your Quote" Objective: To introduce leadership discussion and awareness Activity Description: Place thoughtful leadership quotes on the walls.Ask the participants to leave their chairs and walk around the room reading each of the quotes (there is no particular order). Then have them stand by one quote that resonates well with their personal views on what makes a good leader. When all participants have selected a quote have each explain to the group why his or her chosen quote is important to them--share a leadership insight.
