SAMARPAN

where ideas flow without any resistance

INTRODUCTION

SAMARPAN is an association of electrical and electronic engineers from the disciplines of EE, EIC and ECE. The association is dedicated towards overall development of the students. It will help the students to showcase their innovative ideas and bring a physical outlook through its various workshop oriented programs.

It would invite value added suggestions on the same from the industry, which will boost the industrial exposure to the University. This platform offers an opportunity to the students and the faculty to groom themselves with the latest trends of the industry and bring a new technical face to the university. This will help us ignite the much needed spark of technology foresight.

HOW SAMARPAN WORKS..?

At SAMARPAN, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. The club is made up of 20 to 30 people who meet once a week or biweekly for 1-2 hrs. Every meeting is supervised by a faculty Advisor. Each meeting gives the opportunity to learn something new. The club works on three week agenda.

Three week Agenda

First Week
A pre-decided topic is brought to the table for discussions. At the end of the first week the faculty advisor would be invited to the weekly meeting, where the faculty views on the topic would be taken as the guidelines to work ahead on the topic. This would show them a way to move ahead on the topic by developing some reports and presentations when entering into the second week.

Second Week
Students will explore the topic and will do the preliminary design work including presentations and reports. At the end of the second week a detailed discussion and presentation of the students will be entertained at the weekly progress meeting and the faculty advisor would oversee the proceedings. This would show them a way to develop a practical project when entering into the third week.

Third Week
Through the third week, we will work to bring a physical shape to the topic with working projects and models. At the end of the third week, Veterans from the concerned industry would be invited to appreciate- value addition inputs to students and we would have an open forum discussion on the respective topic/work.
