1. Supporting European Accession Process 2. Supporting the administrative decentralization of local development policies 3. Improving of dialogue between central and local governments and with local communities; 4. Strengthening the partecipation of the civil society and local stakeholders in the design of the public policies.

Principal issues and local needs

Diversification of the tourism offer; Preservation of the environmental resource; Improvement of governance process by including local stakeholders in the decision making process; Development of institutional capacities regarding spatial planning, particularly regarding tourism sector.

Specific objective

Promotion of the sustainability and adoption of the new methodologies and instruments of spatial planning in order to achieve a sustainable tourism development from environmental, economic and social point of view.
