Some people describe poverty as a lack of essential items such as food, clothing, water, and shelter needed for

or proper living.
I describe it as deaths of unborn, suffering of innocents, or the most horrific thing anyone could ever imagine!! But poverty in real isnt just lack of essential items . Poverty is being sick and not being able to see the doctor. Poverty is not having access to school and not knowing how to read , write or learn? Poverty is not having a job, Fear of future, Living one day at a time

Due to inflation and economic crisis

Pakistan government spent over 1

trillion Rupees (about $16.7 billion) on poverty alleviation programs during the past four years, cutting poverty from 35% in 2000-01 to 24% in 2006. Rural poverty remains a pressing issue, as development there has been far slower than in the major urban areas.

Pakistan is still struggling with around 55 per cent of literacy rate and it needs at least 38 years to achieve the Universal Primary Education and 16 years to achieve 86 per cent of literacy rate.Media Forum for the Promotion of Literacy in Pakistan.
