Shebichol HaLaylot Ain Anu Matbilin Afilu Pa’am Echat
!On all other nights we don’t dip; not even once

‫הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה שְתֵי פְעָמִים‬

HaLaylah HaZeh Shtay Phiamim
But on this night (of Pesach) we dip twice
 ‫מַה נִשְתַנָה הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה‬
‫מִכָל הַלֵילות‬
Mah Nishtana HaLaylah HaZeh MiKol HaLaylot
‫מַצָה‬Why
‫ או‬is‫חָמֵץ‬ ‫אוכְלִין‬
this night different ‫אנו‬ ‫הַלֵילות‬
from all ‫ֶבְכָל‬
other nights?
Shebichol HaLaylot Anu Ochlin Chametz Oh Matzah
On all other nights we can eat Chametz or Matzah

‫הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה כֻלו מַצָה‬

HaLaylah HaZeh Kulo Matzah
But on this night (of Pesach) only Matzah
 ‫מַה נִשְתַנָה הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה‬
‫מִכָל הַלֵילות‬
Mah Nishtana HaLaylah HaZeh MiKol HaLaylot
Why is this night different from all other nights?
‫שֶבְכָל הַלֵילות אנו אוכְלִין שְאר יְרָקות‬
Shebichol HaLaylot Anu Ochlin Shiar Yirakot
On all other nights we eat all different kinds of Vegetables

‫הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה מָרור‬

HaLayla HaZeh Maror
But on this night (of Pesach) we eat Maror
 ‫מַה נִשְתַנָה הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה‬
‫מִכָל הַלֵילות‬
Mah Nishtana HaLaylah HaZeh MiKol HaLaylot
Why is this night different from all other nights?
‫ְכָל הַלֵילות אנו אוכְלִין בֵין יושְבִין ובֵין מְס‬
Shebichol HaLaylot Anu Ochlin Bain Yoshvin U’Vain Misubin
On all other nights we can eat sitting or reclining

‫הַלַיְלָה הַזֶה כֻלָנו מְסֻבִין‬

Halayla Hazeh Kulanu Misubin
But on this night (of Pesach) we eat reclining
 Wash your hands,
For Rachtzah
demands,
 The Motzai Matzah,
Middle Matzah that we will eat.
Marror is bitter greens,
 Korach
Sandwich between,
Pesach

Matzah

Maror
 Shulchan Orach,
the Holiday meal we lick
our soup bowls clean.
Tzafon not far behind,
Afikoman we find,
 Bairach we bless,
In Hallel mention Hashem
who is so kind.
 Nirtzah is our task,
To ask Hashem to please,
Accept the mitzvot we have done
