UWF COPS/School of Education Pickens Pack Technology Initiative

Purpose Integrate technology designed to enhance (Sizzlefy) the student teaching experience by: 1. Increasing the number of observations with feedback provided from university supervisors and supervising teachers located in various physical locations, 2. Increase the amount of immediate feedback to student teachers during instructional delivery using virtual coaching techniques and cues.

used to deliver immediate feedback to teachers as they deliver classroom instruction

But what does that mean to me as an Intern at Brentwood?

If you have agreed to participate it means:

1. You must sign a consent to participate in the study.

2. You will be assigned an iPod Touch and Bluetooth Earpiece for the duration of the internship 3. You will receive additional observations and feedback using the Virtual Coaching model.

But what does that mean to me as an Supervising Teacher at Brentwood?

1. You must sign a consent as well. 2. You will be assigned an iPod Touch (if needed/wanted) as long for the duration of the study. 3. Increased supervision without physically being present in the room. 4. Ability to provide immediate feedback to your intern during instructional delivery.
