What is the TSP?

Towable survey Platform (TSP) is a floating, towable vessel that can support a complete multibeam and/or Doppler survey suite. The TSP relieves the user of mobilization and demobilization costs for small to medium sized surveys.

Managing vertical datum

Tide corrected data 1. TRDI will provide a squat/Settlement curve for the TSP carrying full instrumentation package 2. Operator will need to keep in null of near field wave train KGPS corrected data 1. Put the TSP anywhere. KGPS handles the Squat/Settlement issue

Squat/ Settlement (Sinkage/Trim)

Towing Characteristics

Will operate at up to 7 knots. Will maintain relative position WRT towing vessel. Tow position can be adjusted by user. Designed for protected waters but is operable in rougher seas.

Physical Characteristics
Can be deployed and recovered by
2 people when fully instrumented 1 person with mast removed

Fits between the wheel wells of a standard pickup truck. Relative positions of sensors is maintained between Mob.s. (recalibration not required) Mast with instrumentation can be used without platform.
