FIRE ONBOARD SHIP

HANAFIE
AIMAN FIKRI

It has been decade human are travelled by using a ship and a lot of incidence such as collision and fire. The one we can see such as the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Because of this, there is a development of Solas Convention about safety aboard ship that all ship must follow it to prevent incidence like Titanic to repeat again.
1

There is the flow of Solas changing from 1914 to 1974:1914 and 1929 SOLAS Conventions 1948 and 1960 SOLAS Conventions 1974 SOLAS Convention

Smoke detectors : A smoke detector is a device that detects smoke, typically as an indicator of fire.

Heat detectors: A heat detector is a fire alarm device designed to respond when the convected thermal energy of a fire increases the temperature of a heat sensitive element.
