Some history
Originates from the Netherlands in the 70s due to restrictive labor laws. Permanent employees were protected by long notice periods and high costs for terminating employees. Early 80s interim management became more common in other EU countries too, esp. UK and Germany. These days nearly 30% of working population in Europe works on interim basis Interim Management in Asia still fairly new Current economic downturn asks for new solutions in Asia as well
