ELECTROMAGNETISM

PRESENTS
The Story of Romeo and Juliet

Did you know?

Magnetism came from Magnes, the shepherd whose staff got attracted to a lodestone.

Romeo was a very rich and handsome guy in South Pole. But Romeo wanted to find a perfect girl for him. Romeo, along with his friend Ace, travel and court girls all over the world but he didnt find the right girl for him. Romeo and Ace was tired to find the right girl for him.

Romeo remembered that they doesnt travel North Pole. Romeo quickly invited Ace to go to North Pole. When they came to north Pole, they are searching for the perfect girl for him but they failed again. Romeo said to ace that he will return to South Pole.

Lodestones are considered as the permanent and natural magnets.

Earth is like a huge magnet because it has a North and South magnetic poles.

But one woman said that there was a girl form the remote place of South Pole. So Romeo went to that place and they find Juliet, the fairest girl in South Pole. Romeo was very attracted to Juliet and quickly court Juliet. Many people was looking at the outside of Juliets house to see the event.

Because of Romeos handsomeness, Juliet was quickly fell in love and gave his hand to Romeo. But Ace disagree to their agreement and he wanred to talk with Romeo alone. When they speak on, Ace admit that he had a feeling to Romeo.

When we break a magnet into several pieces, all pieces still have a North and South poles.

A compass is very useful when you are in a desert, ice caps or in a middle of nowhere.

Romeo was shocked by Aces statement but he decided that to be together with Juliet. And Romeo and Juliet were happy and Ace was alone in his life.

In the story, Romeo left away Ace and stay together with Juliet. In relation to electromagnetism, magnets can attract and repel to each other. If the magnets have different poles, they will attract but when they are in the same poles, they will repel.

Did you know?

Electricity can produce magnetism but magnetism cannot produce electricity.

Did you know?

A magnet loses its magnetic properties when heated to a 770 C.

Magnets are also looks like attitudes. Sometimes they are similar but sometimes they are different. Also sometimes they are strong but sometimes they are weak. A magnet can be natural or artificial. A lodestone or magnetite is natural magnet while that can be magnetized by transferring magnetic properties.

Example, a steel screwdriver was attached to a magnet for many days. Due to magnetic domain or arrangement of magnetic poles to the metal, the screwdriver will later on be looks like a magnet.

William Sturgeon invented the first electromagnet since 1825.

The more coil of conductor are placed in a electromagnet, the greater the magnetic field will produce.

Another example is a transformer that is present in your electrical appliances is also a magnet but it needs electricity to be a magnet. This is called electromagnet. It can control its magnetic field. The more coils of wire are attached to the magnet, it will produce bigger magnetic field.
