Fusion center can accept payment on behalf of shaadi.com either by cash or by cheque/DD To accept cash, balance needs to be maintained with Hughes by the Fusion center in its Advance Deposit account. Cheque/ DD can only be accepted if there is an ICICI bank branch in the city

Customer registers on Shaadi.com Customer walks into Fusion center to make payment Fusion center personnel asks the customer for Order ID or shaddi.com profile ID Fusion center personnel log on to the AST and complete transaction by inputting customer details and payment details, which could be cash or cheque/DD. Receipt is generated by the system which is handed over to the customer.

Should I accept payment by cash or cheque/DD?
You can accept payment by cash only if you have sufficient cash balance in your advance account with Hughes. If balance is insufficient, the system will not allow you to complete the transaction Accept cheque/DD only if there is a ICICI bank branch in your city. If you dont have sufficient cash balance and there is an ICICI bank branch, you can accept payment by cheque/DD If the customer walks in with a cheque or DD and there is no ICICI Bank branch in your city, you cannot accept the cheque and will have to request the customer to make payment by cash only.

Welcome page to the Cash Management System on Assisted Services Terminal (AST) Each Fusion Center has a unique login ID and Password. Password can be reset by the Fusion center Password need to be kept confidential by the Fusion center

The recommended printer for the AST is a Thermal printer. If the Fusion center does not have a Thermal printer this message is displayed. The Fusion center has a choice to use any other printer for printing receipts By clicking on submit, the AST will generate the receipt from the LAN printer Note: Thermal printers have the lowest cost per print and as the number of transactions increase we recommend installing a thermal printer

Choose Payment Mode
Fusion center to choose one option for payment by clicking on it. For cash click on cash and for cheque/DD click on cheque. The customer will determine whether he wants to pay by cash or by cheque/DD Payment for a transaction can be accepted by the Fusion Center either through CASH or through a Cheque/ DD. For one transaction only one mode will be used.. Either cash or cheque/DD The steps involved in collecting payments through Cash are different from that involved in collecting payments through Cheque/DD. The Fusion center should know the differences

Accept Payment by Cash

The first screen if Cash is taken as the payment option. The Fusion center has to ask the customer for the order ID and the profile ID and enter the IDs for cash transactions. Any one of the two are sufficient, if the customer does not have the order ID the profile ID is sufficient and you can proceed without the order ID Enter the amount and click on accept. Clicking on cancel will cancel the entire transaction and the AST will come back to the services page

Accept Payment by Cash- Transaction Summary Transaction summary is displayed. If all details are ok then click on accept. On clicking on accept the franchisee balance with Hughes is debited for the amount A receipt containing details inputted by the Fusion center is generated and has to be handed over to the customer By clicking on cancel, the entire transaction is cancelled and it will go back to the service page

Accept Payment by Cheque For Payments to be done by Cheque/DD, the following verifications should be done by the Fusion Center: The cheque is in favor of People
Interactive Pvt.Ltd The Cheque is crossed The amount in words and figures tally and are equal to the order value The cheque is signed The date on the cheque is recent The cheque is for a local bank branch and not an outstation cheque All corrections on the cheque subject to a maximum of three corrections are countersigned by the signing authority for the cheque

Accept Payment by Cheque Enter the Order ID and profile ID. The profile ID will do if the customer does not remember the order ID Enter the cheque date and amount Click on accept to complete the transaction. Clicking on cancel will cancel the transaction and return to services page

The Fusion Center will have to enter the Cheque/DD digits. The AST allows for this to be either done manually or through a MICR reader which can be attached to the AST Cheque/DD number is the first set numbers at the bottom of the instrument. MICR number is the next set of numbers after the cheque number Account number is the set of numbers after the MICR number The account number is the last set of numbers at the bottom of the instrument Click on accept to move on to the next step or cancel to end the session

Accept Payment by Cheque- Transaction Summary
Once all details are entered a transaction summary is displayed for verification that all details have been correctly entered. The Fusion center has to verify details before clicking on Submit. Clicking on Submit will record the transaction has been completed, and the transaction will be recorded in Hughes Database. The Fusion center can stop the transaction before completion, by clicking on return Cheque which will end the session and clear all details.
