What is SDH ?

SDH - Synchronous Digital Hierarchy

A Modular, Layered & Organized Architecture using Synchronous Multiplexing Technique. A Standardized hierarchical Set of Digital Transport Structures for transport of suitably Adapted Payloads A Set of Improved & Standardized Management Interfaces and Functions, allowing Digital Transmission Systems to inter-work in a multivendor environment.
