Any sort of matter which induces complexity in proper communication is a barrier to communication.

Say, if your tongue is not clear, you feel it difficult to speak even a word that is known to you. another example is Hesitation. It induces a sense of reluctance to speak in front of some one or in front of a crowd.

Interpersonal barriers

So finally, interpersonal barriers refer to the disturbances that hinder the smooth transaction of words between sender and receiver.
