Complex Sentences
Has at least 1 independent clause joined by one or more dependent clauses. Has a FANBOY AAAWWUBBIS such as because, since, after, although, or, before, until. Often use the pronouns who, which or that to add information E.g. The women were shouting at the boy. E.g. The women who were shouting at the boy came closer.
Examples
When he handed in his homework, he forgot to give the teacher the last page. The teacher returned the homework after she noticed the error.
