Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has instructed all Operators to curb unsolicited commercial communications to mobile users from telemarketers.
2. The regulation mandates telemarketers to register with TRAI in order to facilitate scrubbing of Do Not Call registered numbers in India. 3. Further, it is mandatory for an Access Provider (Operator) to ensure that all transactions, irrespective of the bearer is captured in a single place, which is available for audit to TRAI at all times.
