We asked 10 people of various ages to help us to decide what we will use and how to

effectively create both a great music video as well as our antennary tasks.

From this graph you can see that we had a low range of ages although this as helped us as we aimed our products at those being 15 and above. Also these are people that are most likely to watch music videos due to there relaxing student lifestyles. This will help us throughout looking at our results as they are a major targeted audience.

This graph also gives us audience demographic results to analyse as we have many males answering our questionnaire this is good due to there being three females within our group which could lead to us having a feminine feel to our work where as with this evidence using both the results and our own preferences we will be able to make to unisex feel which will give us a larger audience demographic.

This question was asked as our genre chosen was that of Pop Rock where here we have decided to name other genres to see if there is another favourite that we may chose due to the further questions may differ if the viewers were not fans of Pop, Rock or Pop Rock but luckily the majority of the audience Electro of the questionnaires favoured Pop Rock which is helpful to us throughout the rest of the questionnaire.

The most popular are those of Close Ups this is good due to when viewing previous videos this was one of the most popular shots. Due to maybe people not being of a media influence the crane and low angle shots may be harder to judge. When videoing and storyboarding our work we will take this into consideration.

This will help us to think of a theme as well as many different scenes as you can see there is a large variety of choices that we could choose from we would include many different ideas through our work as this would increase the audience numbers and also uphold the interest throughout our video. This is a good result for us as we could pretty much include anything we wanted . When looking at the rest of the results this maybe something we could reference.

This is to help us with every product from the magazine advert, flat pack as well as the music video. Throughout we would have a theme to all three to show that is the same campaign. This will help to create a image for the artist. From the results the majority of the audience said to use black and white this would be something to take into consideration when thinking of a signature look for all three products.

From this we took the best known Pop Rock Artists and clearly you can see that Maroon 5 was classed as the top of this. When picking the song for our work we have to write to the artists record label and we would intend to find a Maroon 5 song so that we will be able to conform to our chosen genre of Pop Rock. A good choice of song would be This Love as it can be portrayed in many different ways which could help us when creating our video.

This is a question we wanted to ask so that we would include the key elements within our work as you can tell the main concern and favourite here is that of photographs which we would use to show the artist. This is the most selected of the lot which seems to be a very positive out come as well as bright colours which is also attractive to the eye of the audience which we should maybe consider when creating our product. Although we have already said that the use of black and white might help to create a signature look for the artist which when hosting and new music video this is something we should consider.

As we have four sides to cover this will be enough space to cover our Digi-Pack with all requested suggestions. We found that cartoons was the selected favourite we may look into this but this doesnt conform to the majority of our audiences needs as well as the artist as we intend to although keep it very fun to also make it very professional. Key points that we may take into consideration is lyrics as well as looking at other Digi- Packs to see what they include within there covers to see what the audience will be looking for and what the industry within this genre already has.

Abstract being that of an mixed up storyline and narrative being that of telling a story. Making a music video where the music has a story within it will be easier to tell a story within the production as we will be able to relate to the song and create an over all feeling towards the work although we could use an abstract feel by adding in flash backs as well as adding in the artist singing this would be something we need to think about as there is still a very large number that said about having an abstract feel to the video.

This final chart will bring all the products together giving a signature to the artist as we are able to create a iconic look for the artist and this will be something that the audience can reference throughout the work. We can tell that defused was selected as the best font this would be something to consider but we aim to have the same text throughout the campaign as this would help to create recognition of our artist.

OVERALL EVALUATION- QUESTIONNAIRES

Looking at the questionnaire results we are able to identify what our audience want with all our tasks. This will lead to have a lot of ease when making decisions. When making our video we will now be able to confirm our genre as well as confirming what age it will be aimed at. Taking these factors into consideration we may different from decisions such as that of the font as the images and font may not go together. By inventing/discovering a different font will give us a more defined and iconic look for our artist. When thinking about different narratives and storylines towards our work we will be able to reference everything that the audience want and try and combine this to create an effective story for our video. Our magazine and CD cover will be helped by both the video research as we want to combine many ideas together to create an effective campaign. We will also get help when looking at ideas for textual analysiss as well as adverts which we can take ideas and incorporate this into our work.
