Planets,Planets How Are You?

Inner Planets Mercury Venus Earth Mars

Outter Planets Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune

Pluto

Inner Planets
Vocabulary- Inner = Dalaman Characteristic of the inner planets 1- All made from rocks 2- Has an Atmosphere 3- Nearest to the Sun

Mercury
Too close to the Sun Temperature is too hot to support life. Atmosphere very thin and poisonous. Not suitable for living things.

Venus
Atmosphere contains Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Dioxide traps heat. Hotter than Mercury. Not suitable for living things.

Earth
Has water Atmosphere contains air (oxigen for human to breath) Suitable temperature for living things. Suitable for living things.

Mars
Almost all of its water frozen. Scientist have not found any life here. Atmosphere very thin and poisonous. Not suitable for living things.

Outter Planets
Vocabulary- Outter = Luaran Characteristic of the outter planets 1.Made of gases 2.Temperature to cold to support life.

Jupiter
Biggest planet. Other planets could fit inside it.

Saturn
Has 3 wide rings. Can be seen using telescope.

Uranus
Looks like rolling (bergolek) on its orbit when it moves around the Sun.

Neptune
Covered (dilitupi/dikelilingi) with a blue ocean of liquid methane.

Meanings = This planet is Blue in colour if you see it from far because of the liquid methane colours.

Pluto
Very cold because it is very far from the Sun.

From our little experiment and my explanations about inner and outter planets just now,can you state the characteristic of the best planet to live on.

The Best Planet To Live On

1.Position (Kedudukan) from the Sun.
Not too near from the Sun = Too hot
Not too far from the Sun = Too cold Living things will die.

How about our Earth position from the Sun? The position of Earth from the Sun is just right to receive (menerima) enough (cukup) heat for living things.

The Best Planets To Live On

2.It has water or not? It has water 70% of Earth covered with water. Why water?

Needed to support life.

The Best Planet To Live On

3.It has air or not? It has air. Earth atmosphere contains air which is suitable for living things to survive. Why air? Needed to support life.

Questions 1
What happens if Earth is closer to the Sun? Temperature too hot.

Question 2
How the distance of a planet from the Sun affects (mempengaruhi) the temperature on the planet. Nearer planet, the temperature is hotter. Further planet, the temperature is colder.

Question 3
Can hot or cold planet support life? Cannot.

Why? Not suitable for living things to survive.

Question 4
Other characteristic? Has air. Has water.

Remember!
Compare to other planets, our Earth has enough water and fresh air for us to survive. So what must you do to keep it enough and fresh for the next generation. 1.Dont waste the water. 2.Keep our air clean. No open burning. Examples-Burn old palm oil leaves.
