The Company was Incorporated on 29th Dec1945 by Mr. H.Premji, in Mumbai. The Company Manufacture vegetable ghee, vanaspati, refined oils including salad oil,soap, waxs and tin containers for packing. The Products trade names were "Kisan", "Sunflower" and "Camel". The name of the Company was changed from Western India Vegetable Products Ltd. to Wipro Products Ltd.
