Introduction

Most

parents today just concerned about the academic results of their children because they think cocurricular only harming their children's time

But The parents should know, not only academic they

must concerned, but activities cocurriculum too. Therefore they must encourage of their children to participate in activities held at the school cocurriculum to become creative and versatile .

ROLES OF PARENTS AT SMK.SERI MUTIARA ,CHERAS 1. Indirectly involved in activities organized by school For example, during the School Sports Day, parents can participate in sport events involving the participation of parents and teachers 2. Directly involved in activities organized by the PIBG For example, during the Entrepreneurship Day School, the parents need to contribute not only financially, but also in terms of manpower to participate open stalls. Revenue from sales booths will be donated to the PIBG fund

3. Contribute skills, financial and energy. For example, parents who have skills in computer repair, they will repair school computer with a very low cost. Father of one student at SMK.seri Mutiara is also coach for gymnastic club

In conclusion, sports in curricular activities are very important to their children. Moreover, to enter the IPTA, 10% from cocurriculum will be as a condition. Therefore all parties should work together so that young people today are more actively to participate in the activities of this nature. Parents should play and perform their responsibilities to encourage their children to get involved in cocurriculum.
