Hints on correcting charts


1- Permanent Notices should be neatly made in waterproof violet ink on the charts affected. 2- Notation of the year and number of the Notices inserted should be made in the bottom left-hand corner of the chart. 3- Always check that the previous Notice has been inserted.

4- If several charted are affected by one notice, the largest scale chart should be corrected first. 5- Correct the chart folios in use first. 6- Whenever possible, writing should be inserted clear of the water unless the relevant objects are on the water.
